OBJECTIVE To know the structure and functioning of healthcare services from the perspective of women who have suffered rape.METHOD A qualitative study conducted with 11 women who experienced here rape, monitored in a maternity in the state of Alagoas, Brazil.Data were systematically based on content analysis.
